(These directions are more practical than Yahoo's!) From Jacksonville: Follow SR 301 through Starke. At Waldo, take SR 24 to Gainesville. As you approach the airport, look for NE 53rd Ave (there is a traffic light). Turn right (west) on NE 53rd Ave for about 6 miles, then left (south) on NW 43rd St. for about 3.5 miles, then right (west) on Newberry Rd. (SR 26) for approx. 1.5 miles, then left (south) on 75th St. (Tower Rd.) for about 3 miles. Kanapaha Park is on your left. From south Florida: Take Archer Rd. (SR) 24 exit, Exit 384, off I-75; proceed west for about 2 miles, then turn right on SW 75th St. (Tower Rd.) for about one mile, then turn right on sw 41st Place. Fields will be on your left. |
